GrowthOS
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GrowthOS collects, uses, stores and protects information when merchants install and use the Shopify app.
1. Who we are
GrowthOS is operated by Xinxiang Guangergaozhi Advertising Media Co., Ltd. The app connects a Shopify store with GrowthOS SaaS so merchants can use AI customer service, content synchronization and SEO/GEO optimization features.
2. Information we collect
When a merchant installs the app, we collect the Shopify shop domain, store name, installation status, OAuth authorization data, app proxy configuration and technical request metadata needed to operate the app.
With merchant authorization, we may read store content such as products, collections, pages, blogs, article titles, handles, excerpts, body text, language or market information and related SEO metadata. We do not intentionally collect payment card data through this app.
If the AI chat feature is enabled, the app may process visitor chat messages, page URLs, browser or page language, timestamps and contact details voluntarily provided by the visitor, such as name, email, phone number or company name.
If SEO/GEO features are used, we may process the merchant's page or article content, generated optimization drafts, review status, publishing logs and rollback records.
3. How we use information
We use information to install and authenticate the app, connect the merchant store to GrowthOS SaaS, synchronize store content, provide AI customer service, generate or publish SEO/GEO optimization content, maintain security, troubleshoot issues and provide support.
We do not sell merchant or customer personal information.
4. Shopify access tokens and security
Shopify access tokens are used only to perform actions authorized by the merchant, such as reading store content, writing supported SEO data, managing app proxy behavior and responding to installation or uninstall events.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted credential storage, access controls and operational logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we process.
5. Sharing and service providers
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app and GrowthOS SaaS, including hosting, database, queue, logging, email, AI model and security providers. These providers are allowed to process information only for service delivery and support purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate abuse or to comply with valid legal process.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain merchant store connection data and synchronized content for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security records.
When the app is uninstalled or the merchant disconnects GrowthOS, we revoke or remove the app's active connection where technically available. Merchants may request deletion or export of GrowthOS app data by contacting us.
7. Merchant and customer choices
Merchants can disable Theme App Extension blocks, disconnect GrowthOS, uninstall the app from Shopify Admin or contact us to request access, correction, deletion or export of app data.
Store visitors should contact the merchant directly for requests about personal information submitted through the merchant's storefront. We will assist merchants with such requests where the data is processed by GrowthOS.
8. International processing
Information may be processed in countries or regions where we or our service providers operate. By using the app, merchants understand that information may be transferred and processed outside their country or region, subject to applicable law.
9. Children
The app is intended for business use by Shopify merchants and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
